This service concept is based on a future scenario where individuals have the right to demand quality services from the government. In this future, citizens are in control and willing to share their data, in order to make informed decisions.

Imagine that you are freaking out about a rash you just discovered. Could it be serious? Could it be cancer? Instead of having to wait for an answer from your GP, then the laboratory, then the specialist… What if there was a “drop-in” service that would give you a trustworthy diagnosis within minutes; based on your medical history and the world of big data.

Cerebrum is a service that uses artificial intelligence with existing medical knowledge and your medical records to provide a preliminary diagnosis. It answers the all-important question of “is it serious,” in order to reduce stress, give patients control and relieve the pressure on the primary and secondary care. Depending on the result, it can prescribe basic treatment; refer directly to a specialist; or send the patient home with one less thing to worry about

This way to the future

To wrap up the project we role-played our services to around 40 C3 partner-representatives, at Ullevål Sykehus. This way we aimed to inspire the C3-partners in their continued work.
