Based on the research and future scenarios developed by a team of students of the master program in organisational psychology at the University of Oslo, we explored and looked into the future of public services in Norway and what characterises them.
We chose a study case where several public and private services are involved(applying for a studying permit), to follow and use as example of what the future could look like. From this point, we applied different service design and horizon scanning methods and models to envision a future concept supported by a roadmap and our own developed scenarios.
By envisioning hypothetical future scenarios, we wanted to propose a future service concept and use it as mean of discussion, as well as inspire others to involve more future forecasting methods as part of the design process.
